wequeerberlin is a non-profit, community project that supports the personal growth and professional development of people in the queer community in Berlin.
Elevating Queer Stories
wequeerberlin is a space to reflect and make visible the stories that bring queer people to Berlin. Through interviews and photography sessions, we aim to capture stories of past, present and future of queer people that came to Berlin, for a variety of reasons, to live. These stories are centered around the following three guiding questions:
1) Past: What reasons brought us to Berlin, and what did we leave behind?
2) Present: What made us stay, and how do we experience being queer in Berlin?
3) Future: How do we envision a future for us in Berlin?
Building Queer Futures
Queer Futures is a non-profit, donation-based project supporting queer folkx in building their futures by envisioning and making progress towards their own personal, professional & community goals in Berlin.
1) Personal goals: Developing better relationships with yourself and with others.
2) Professional goals: Navigate work, career transitions or develop your own projects.
3) Community goals: Cultivate nourishing & supporting community circles
Queer Circles are spaces to connect and experiment in a group setting. Through evening, half-day and full day facilitated spaces, we will touch on different topics that affect us as a community through intersectionality lenses, from belonging, resilience and self-acceptance to building stronger bonds and relationships with the people, the community and the causes we belong to and care about.

wequeerberlin is a community-driven, non-profit initiative that operates on a donation-based, solidarity scheme to ensure accessibility for all. All proceeds from the donations are re-invested into the project, with the idea of growing the team and expanding the offering, and make it sustainable in the long run.
